Fire 6 miles southeast of Luck Peak Reservoir burns 762 acres

As of Sunday night, the fire has been contained. It is expected to be fully controlled by Monday at 6 p.m.

BOISE, Idaho — Update: As of Sept. 22, at roughly 8 p.m., the fire has been contained. As of Sept. 23, crews are working the area to mop up hotspots and keep monitoring. The estimated control date of Sept. 23 at 6 p.m. remains in place. The cause of the fire is still unknown at this time and is under investigation. No structures were threatened, said Bureau of Land Management. 

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is reporting a fire called The Three Point Fire about 6 miles southeast of Lucky Peak Reservoir. By 6:20 p.m. on Sept. 22 the fire had burned 762 acres. The estimated containment is Sept. 22 at 8 p.m., estimated control is on Sept. 23 at 6 p.m. 

"Crews are on scene and working to stop forward progress of the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No estimated containment or control times yet. No structures threatened," BLM stated.

The fire was reported Sept. 22 at 11:20 a.m. and is affecting Blacks Creek Road, officials are asking people to avoid the area and expect delays.
