MERIDIAN — Fire has badly damaged a home on North Elisha Avenue in Meridian, just southwest of the intersection of Ustick and Black Cat roads.
Neighbors have told us that everyone who was in the house got out OK, but there is smoke damage to most of the house, and firefighters had to cut a hole in the roof.

Firefighters were still mopping up Monday evening.
Most importantly, the people who live in the house did get out safely.
