Idaho Fish and Game flying into bat education in Twin Falls

Bat education is not bad education, that is why the Idaho Fish and Game is holding an awareness event in Twin Falls on Thursday.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho — Bats are no stranger to the State of Idaho, even rabid bats are known to be seen all around. To combat fears, or to intrigue bat lovers, the Idaho Fish and Game, Magic Valley Region is hosting a bat education and awareness event.

The event kicks off Thursday, August 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Noah Oliver Pavilion located in the Rock Creek County RV Park in Twin Falls. 

Once dusk hits, a wildlife biologist with Idaho Fish and Game will be using bat detecting technology to study the bats around the area. The technology will help the audience hear and seek bats surrounding the nearby pond.
