Frog fire evacuations

CUSTER COUNTY, Idaho — The Custer County Sheriff's Office has issued evacuations due to the newly started Frog Fire, located 11 miles northeast of Smiley Creek in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area

The evacuation is from the Boulder Creek turn off to the Germania Creek Trail head and the Livingston Mine near Railroad Ridge. The office said anyone else who feels unsafe should leave immediately.

The Frog Fire started on Sept. 7 and as of Sept. 10, the fire is over 1,500 acres.
