BOISE, Idaho — Boiseans will see a small price drop in gas the next time they fill up at the pump.
The average price for a gallon of gas in Boise dipped roughly six cents compared to last week making it $3.96, according to GasBuddy. Prices are 18.3 cents lower than a month ago and 39.3 cents lower than a year ago.
AAA reports that the average price of a gallon of gas in Idaho has decreased by six cents in the past week, now at $3.99.
"In the days since Hamas terrorists attacked Israel, the crude oil market has faced some uncertainty, but as long as other nations don't get directly involved in the conflict, those concerns may dissipate," said, Matthew Conde, AAA Idaho public affairs director. "This week, the price of fill-ups may bounce above and below $4 based on what crude oil prices and fuel demand are doing."
The National average price for a gallon of gas fell 11.3 cents making it $3.55.
Idaho has the 8th most expensive gas in the county.
