BOISE, Idaho — A local animal shelter is looking to find forever homes for senior dogs.
Greenheart Rescue has 10 older dogs that are available for adoption.
The organization held a fundraiser Saturday at Western Collective in Garden City.
The event included pictures with Santa and your dog, along with a silent auction.
“We focus on saving senior dogs from overcrowded shelters, saving their life, euthanasia, giving them a second chance at life,” said Shannon Benecky with Greenheart Rescue.
