Boise's Halloween on Harrison brings costumes and road closures

Don't be a clown, drive safely around Halloween hot spots.

BOISE, Idaho — Ghouls, goblins, road closures, oh my! 

Harrison Boulevard in Boise is celebrating Halloween this year in their traditional style, with a road closure. 

The popular trick-or-treat location brings thousands to Harrison Boulevard in the North End each year. 

With safety top of mind, Ada County Highway District or ACHD is closing Harrison between Hill Road and Hays Street for the festivities. The road will be closed from 2 p.m. to roughly midnight, ACHD said. 

Keep a close eye on the sidewalks and side streets, as creatures of all sizes will be coming to get their share of candy. 

ACHD reminds drivers to stay vigilant on Halloween, scanning the roads for possible pedestrians and other drivers.
