BOISE -- A mother bobcat and her three kittens have taken up residence near Lucky Peak, according to the local chapter of the Army Corps of Engineers.

The Walla Walla U.S. Army Corps of Engineers shared a video of the cats on their Facebook page.

Bobcats are notoriously elusive, making sightings in the wild relatively rare. However, the area where the female bobcat and her litter are living is safe enough to make them comfortable coming out during daylight hours.

If you do spot the bobcat family, make sure to give them plenty of space - and never try to pet them.
