SUN VALLEY, Idaho — The Custer County Sheriff's Office found a missing 89-year-old man that had left to go hiking on the Hunter Creek Trailhead on Thursday, Aug. 1.
He was found one week later on August 11.
"Sheriff Levi Maydole is thankful for the relentless efforts of our wonderful community in providing this outcome... We hope that his recovery is swift, and he will be enjoying time with his family and friends," the sheriff's office stated on social media.
