NAMPA, Idaho — Idaho Fish and Game will be stocking an estimated 21,000 catchable-sized rainbow trout in the month of August in the Southwest region. There will also be 2,000 tiger trout released during the month.
The Southwest Region includes the area from north of McCall south to the Nevada border and has regional offices in McCall and Nampa.
IDFG plans to release the fish weekly throughout August. They will stock the trout following this schedule:

- North Fork Payette River - 500
- Week 2 - August 12-16
- Rowland Pond - 500
- Granite Lake - 2,000 (Tiger Trout)
- Week 4 - August 26-30
- Browns Pond - 1,000
- Rowland Pond - 500
Nampa
- Week 1 - August 5-9
- Boise River - 1,300
- Middle Fork Payette River - 750
- Silver Creek - 750
- North Fork Boise River - 1,750
- Wilson Springs - 200
- Wilson Creek - 250
- Week 2 - August 12-16
- Boise River (Arrowrock to NF Confluence) - 1,750
- South Fork Payette River - 1,750
- Lowman Ponds - 360
