BOISE, Idaho — The Idaho Lottery announced Thursday that time is quickly running out for the holder of an unclaimed $10,000 winning ticket.
Someone in the Gem State has a $10,000 winning Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle ticket that was sold last fall. The winning ticket was sold in Nampa and the winning numbers are 079535.
"Time is of the essence for the holder of the ticket to come forward and claim their $10,000 prize," said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. "Players have 180 days to claim their prize after the draw occurs. That day is Monday, June 24, 2024. If no one has brought the ticket to Idaho Lottery offices in Boise for validation by 5:30 PM Mountain Time, the ticket will expire, and we will be unable to pay the claim."
According to Idaho Lottery, the winning ticket has generated "little interest or inquiries from players."
"We remind our players frequently to check their tickets routinely for winners. Too many times we've seen players think they did not have a winning ticket because they did not win the top prize," Anderson said. "This game had over 17,000 other prizes. In this case, this ticket is worth $10,000."
Idaho Lottery said that in addition to the larger $10,000 prize, there are four other unclaimed daily prizes from the Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle game that will expire on Monday, June 24. These winners have prizes of $1,000 and their winning numbers are:
- 052505
- 139317
- 152316
- 216890
The Idaho Lottery states that if these prizes go unclaimed, the winnings will benefit the Idaho's Lottery's beneficiaries, public schools, and permanent buildings of Idaho.
