Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse opens its doors Friday

The sports facility is seven acres, and will serve athletes of all ages and skill levels.

BOISE, Idaho — The Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse is opening its doors on Nov. 10, 2023. It's the future headquarters of Mission43 and Challenged Athlete Foundation - Idaho (CAF). 

The campus sprawls seven acres and is located in southeast Boise. It will be a place for members of the two organizations to live up to their full potential, stated the news release. The release later goes on to say, that the vision of the Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse is to provide opportunities to pursue wellbeing through outdoor activities and athletics. 

The Fieldhouse has been under construction since breaking ground in November of 2021.

Mission43, a local non-profit, fully funded through the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation provides servicemen, women, and military spouses opportunities to succeed in Idaho after the military, per their website

The CAF's goal is to provide opportunities and support to people with physical challenges, so they can pursue active lifestyles through physical fitness and competitive athletics, said the CAF website

The Fieldhouse will have a ribbon cutting on Nov. 10 at 3 p.m. at 3179 E. Barber Valley Drive, Boise, ID 83716.
