Dave’s Hot Chicken, the fast-casual restaurant chain known for its jumbo hot chicken tenders and sliders, is set to open its second Treasure Valley location this week when it debuts in Nampa.
Already established at 450 N Eagle Road in Meridian, the Nashville hot chicken joint is ready to roll out its Canyon County location at 16365 N Marketplace Blvd. this Friday.
Started as an outdoor establishment in an East Hollywood parking lot in 2017 by three childhood friends, the franchise now has close to 200 locations throughout the United States stretching from California to New York City.
Aside from its signature chicken, the restaurant also offers house-made kale slaw, mac n’ cheese and crispy, seasoned french fries, according to its website. It also has seven various spice levels to its chicken, ranging from No Spice to Reaper — which requires a signed waiver for those who are looking to indulge.
Dave’s Hot Chicken has attracted a number of celebrity investors over the years, including hip-hop and cultural mogul Drake; former NFL Hall of Famer and television personality Michael Stahan; and renowned American actor Samuel L. Jackson.
The Nampa location will be open from 11 a.m. to midnight.
