The big-headed blue, baldy Megamind is back for Dreamworks, and his transformation from supervillain to superhero is a work in progress.

Families can relax and enjoy the fun together, as executive producer Alan Schoolcraft told KTVB, "Megamind is family entertainment. We don't write down to children. We don't write to adults. We wanted to create a sequel movie so a whole family could sit together. And then that's what we did. Because Megamind is not a cynical character, but just a lovable character, the whole family can enjoy him and his shenanigans."

Peacock is home to the new Megamind movie and TV show, which are releasing simultaneously on March 1. Megamind vs. the Doom Syndicate is the animation sequel to the 2010 film with Will Ferrell and picks up where it left off. The TV show Megamind Rules! follows Megamind as he tries to become the first superhero influencer.

Eric Fogel (Celebrity Deathmatch) had the proper sense of humor to add to the new sequel and won the confidence of both Brent and Alan early on. Brent Simons said, "We were big Celebrity Death Match fans of much of Eric's work. But it was clear he was such a fan of the original film that he got it. We were just excited to work with him. Eric is super creative; he's an animation legend. It was an honor to work with him and collaborate with him for Megamind."

The movie is designed to be watched first. The Doom Syndicate will be a direct sequel to the 2010 movie, picking up nearly the moment Megamind left off and leading into the show's storyline. Since 2010, a few changes have taken place in casting. Megamind (now voiced by Keith Ferguson) is valiantly attempting heroism, all underscored by his big blue bald head and the enormous ego that fills it.

While the animation film will show Megamind battling his former villainous crew, The Doom Syndicate, the TV show will feature him attempting to become the first superhero influencer by recording all his doings on his brainbots.

Peacock has also announced the entire cast for the Megamind show and movie, featuring the same cast of characters. In addition to Robot Chicken's Keith Ferguson replacing Will Ferrell as Megamind, Lego Marvel Avengers: Code Red's Laura Post will replace Tina Fey as reporter Roxanne Ritchi. Joining them are Josh Brener as Ol' Chum, Maya Aoki Tuttle as Keiko Morita, Emily Tunon as Lady Doppler, Talon Warburton as Lord Nighty-Knight, Scott Adsit as Pierre Pressure, Chris Sullivan as Behemoth, Tony Hale as Mel/Mr. Donut, Jeanine Mason as Christino Christo, and Adam Lambert as Machiavillain.
