ECHO Idaho trains professionals how to treat substance use disorders

September is National Recovery Month

Those battling substance use disorders usually turn to medical and mental health professionals -- and even teachers and school nurses -- for help. University of Idaho's Project ECHO (Extension for Community Health Outcomes) is training these professionals to identify, address, and treat substance use and behavior issues.

We are joined by three experts who are part of the ECHO program to share more about the work they are doing and how others in this field can get involved.
