Costume contests and candy galore at Boo At The Zoo, Zoo Boise's annual event

Idaho Today host Mellisa Paul learned about Zoo Boise and the best family Halloween event in town. They always have fun events for Boise, Idaho residents and visitors. Jeff Agosta came to KTVB to speak to Mellisa about the events leading up to Halloween, where the Zoo allows visitors to dress in costume and see the animals.

Agosta explained the multigroup contest for those who dress up as a team was a favorite, where the age groups are arranged for people to give their costume skills a try.

There were trick-or-treat candy stations, costume contests for all ages, vendors, photo ops, face painting, special Halloween-themed treats for the zoo animals, and much more.  Normal admissions prices applied but were free for zoo members. The funds raised during that annual event help the Zoo expand exhibits and contribute to wildlife conservation.
