The Central Health District announces an important informational event for families focused on protecting children in today's digital world. The free educational presentation, "Devices & Digital Media: Your Child's Mental Health & Well-being," will be held Tuesday, November 12, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hill City Church in Boise.
An expert panel, including Officer Gomez, former FBI Agent Hart, pediatric neurologist Dr. Condie, and event coordinator Kelli Rich (Save My Family nonprofit), will tackle critical issues impacting the psychological, emotional, and physical well-being of youth. The panel will offer valuable insights into the risks of social media, substance abuse, addiction, and digital safety challenges that local families in the Treasure Valley are facing.
