BOISE -- Summer is fast approaching, and for those of you who make an annual trip up to Redfish Lake we have good news.
Construction crews are in Stanley working on the new dock for Redfish Lake, right now.
Ice damaged the iconic dock built 14 years ago.
Redfish Lake Lodge owners tell us they worried building the same dock again might mean ice damaging it again, but they are willing to take that risk for the sake of tradition.
The lake and lodge open for the season on May 23rd.
