BOISE, Idaho — The Idaho Department of Correction (IDOC) is searching for an Idaho Falls Community Reentry Center resident. The resident walked away from a jobsite at roughly 8 a.m. Wednesday.
IDOC is looking for 48-year-old Daniel Eugene Palmer, who is described as being 6 feet, 1 inches tall, and 225 pounds. He has green eyes and brown hair, and was last seen wearing a dark blue button-up shirt, blue jeans and black tennis shoes. He was last seen at his jobsite in Idaho Falls.
Palmer may be driving a stolen car, a black 2010 Honda Accord, according to the Idaho Department of Correction.
IDOC released some brief information about Palmer's criminal history. He has a conviction for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and eluding a police officer in Kootenai County. Palmer was eligible for parole since Sep. 16, 2022 and his sentence was set to be discharged on Jan. 21, 2025.
Anyone who may know something about Palmer's whereabouts should call 911.
