FRUITLAND, Idaho — According to the Payette Fire Department, there is an investigation pending for the cause of a large fire near Fruitland City Hall.
A field across from Fruitland's city hall caught fire and spread to a nearby plant nursery around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 3.
The fire department told KTVB that there were 16 fire department vehicles on the scene, including two from Nyssa, Oregon.
The fire was eventually contained, but the cause is still unknown. KTVB will provide updates as they become available.
