ISP: Caldwell woman dies in fatal crash

The Idaho State Police said on Friday morning, a 42-year-old Caldwell woman died after crashing into a parked semi-truck.

BOISE, Idaho — One woman is dead after she was involved in a two-vehicle crash Friday morning in Canyon County.

Idaho State Police(ISP) said the crash happened around 10:54 a.m. on Cleveland Boulevard and Canal Street when a 42-year-old woman driving westbound in a 2011 Ford Focus veered off to the right.

The driver crashed into a parked 2023 Freightliner semi-truck carrying a semi-trailer, driven by a 62-year-old man from Nampa. 

ISP said the woman was not wearing her seatbelt, and she died at the scene.

Her identity is unknown at this time.

Idaho State Police are investigating the incident.
