Jerry's State Court Cafe is closing Friday.

BOISE -- A well-known Boise eatery is closing its doors for good this Friday.

The owners of Jerry's State Court Cafe announced they have sold their Fairview Avenue restaurant to Moon's Kitchen.

The Jones family, Jerry, his dad Dave and stepmom Connie, issued a statement saying it is with mixed emotions they are shutting down. They thanked customers for the past five-and-a-half years, but said it's time to move on.

Jerry's customers are encouraged to come by the restaurant this week to enjoy the last of Jerry's signature dishes. The restaurant will close at 2 p.m. on Oct. 31

The entire staff will continue to be employed at Moon's Kitchen, which opens for business at 7 a.m. on Nov. 1.
