Slide into some fun: JUMP opens slide season

Start the summer season in style with a kick-off party at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in downtown Boise.

BOISE, Idaho — Summertime – known for hot temperatures, cool water and fun memories for the whole family. One of Boise's buildings has the perfect way to create those memories. 

JUMP, or Jack’s Urban Meeting Place, is opening their slides for the summer in downtown Boise. With Noon Chutes, Evening Slides, and Slide into Saturday, families can enjoy the slides through Oct. 19.

JUMP is hosting a kick-off party Thursday at 5:30 p.m. to celebrate the start of chute season. There will be a happy hour with music, trivia, games and snacks available on the 5th Floor Deck. 

Happy hours will be hosted weekly, and drinks will be buy one, get one free all summer long.

JUMP notes that slide times are subject to change, depending on weather conditions and staffing. When it gets too hot this summer, they may need to shut down for a bit. 

Below are the dates and times the slides will be running this summer in the City of Trees:

  • Tuesday: 12-1 p.m. and 5:30-7:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 12-1 p.m.
  • Thursday: 12-1 p.m. and 5:30-7:30 p.m.
  • Friday: 12-1 p.m. 
  • Saturday: 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
  • Sunday: Closed
  • Monday: Closed
