BOISE -- An iconic, locally owned restaurant will serve its last meal this week.
The Kodiak Grill, perched on a hill on Highway 21, will close on Sunday.
Restaurant manager Marty Florence told KTVB the reason for the closure is that business has been very slow.
The Kodiak Grill was featured on the hit Food Network TV show, Diners, Drive-Ins, Dives with host Guy Fieri in 2009. In the segment, Fieri referred to restaurant on the hill as the local landmark brought back to life.
This is the second local restaurant to close in Boise this week. Donnie Mac's Trailer Park Cuisine closed its doors on Wednesday.
