ADA COUNTY, Idaho — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality lifted an air quality advisory to moderate early Sunday, Jan. 21. The past several days air quality has been poor in the Treasure Valley and advisory burn bans had been put in place. Ada, Canyon, Gem and Payette County now have that advisory lifted.
The department pointed to increasing winds, unsettled weather and a chance of precipitation as the reasons the air quality has changed.
For more information and real-time air quality information people can go to the Idaho DEQ website and use the interactive map or look up daily air quality forecasts.
