As it heats up, 'water' you doing? Head to Boise pools to cool off

Boise City pools are opening tomorrow.

BOISE, Idaho — Idaho is ready for summer and not a moment too late, the city of Boise is opening all of its outdoor pools on Friday, June 2 at 1:00 p.m. People can cool off at Ivywild pool, Borah pool, Fairmont pool or the Natatorium and its ever-popular Hydrotube.

"Hours and daily sessions vary by location, so be sure to check the schedule at the pool you plan to visit prior to leaving home. In addition to drop-in lap swim and open swim times, 2023 season swim passes are on sale now. Visitors are asked to follow all pool rules and policies. Please note, any life jackets worn at Boise pools must be Coast Guard approved. No over the nose swim goggles are permitted," a press release stated.

The city also offers swimming lessons and are looking to hire more lifeguard, staff members and various pool positions. People can get more information on season passes and openings for employment at cityofboise.org
