Vogue Magazine features local business owner

Erin Rodriguez and her business Golden Medical Aesthetics was featured in November’s edition of Vogue Magazine.

NAMPA, Idaho — Vogue is one of the world’s most prominent fashion magazines, but this time around you might have seen a familiar face.

Erin Rodriguez is the owner of Golden Medical Aesthetics she said, “Making women feel beautiful. I fell in love with that. “

Erin Rodriguez is the owner of Golden Medical Aesthetics. It’s the passion she has for the beauty industry that has earned her a spot in the community.

So, I do all the fillers, Botox, Sculptra, all that kind of stuff,” Rodriguez said.

Rodriguez reflects on how she got to her unwavering success and shared this wasn’t her first career pick.

"I wanted to be a doctor,” she adds.

Navigating life in the medical world, she found herself with a change she didn’t expect.

"When I was in nursing school, my boss at the time wasn't willing to work with my clinical schedule. So, I was like, well, I will do something,” Rodriguez said. “So, I did eyelash extensions. And when I was in nursing school, and so that propelled me into the beauty world."

Rodriguez has been in the beauty industry for 7 years, helping women feel beautiful.

"Everything we do, every treatment, we recommend every product we recommend, we are never after any kind of profit just for that we literally are like you need this because we love you,” Rodriguez said.

Now, her passion isn’t just felt by the Treasure Valley Community. It has reached a national stage.

“I received a phone call from one of the editors of this magazine of Okay, and she was like, we heard about your spa, we've heard about you were very impressed,” Rodriguez said.

Rodriguez and her med spa were featured in the November edition of Vogue Magazine with her being recognized as an influential woman in Idaho.

"I'm so honored to be that piece for Idaho,” Rodriguez said.

This newfound success wasn’t something she kept to herself; she shared the stage with her community.

"An idea of mine that I had to bring in a plethora of my clients and photograph them,” Rodriguez said.

The photo featured in the magazine honors the beauty of her clients.

"So that shot was kind of like a power shot of just, this is me, this is my work. These are my people,” Rodriguez said.

Although the spotlight has reached national attention, Rodriguez said her community in Idaho is what’s most important to her.

“Know that if they ever want to step foot in our doors, we are a safe place and a home for them. Just like Idaho is home to them,” Rodriguez said.
