CANYON COUNTY, Idaho — An 18-year-old man from Caldwell driving a 2007 Mazda CX-9 was involved in a multi-vehicle crash this morning Saturday, Dec. 16 around 7:30 a.m., in Canyon County at of Farmway Road. and Lonkey Ln., according to the Idaho State Police (ISP).
Police said the Mazda driver was going east on Lonkey Ln., and failed to yield to a pickup going south on Farmway Road.
"A third vehicle, a 2015 Ram 2500 pickup, collided with the Ford pickup after the initial collision. The Ford pickup was driven by a 49-year-old male from Sacramento,CA. There were two other occupants in the Ford, a 26-year-old male and a 43-year-old male. The Ram 2500 pickup was occupied by a 66-year-old male from Caldwell,ID. All occupants were wearing their seatbelts. The driver of the Mazda was transported to a local hospital via ground ambulance," a news release stated.
The road was blocked for around two hours and ISP is investigating the crash.
