BOISE, Idaho — The Ada County Coroner (ACC) released the name of a man who died after a single-person car crash on Dec. 8 in Boise. On Monday, the ACC identified the man as 23-year-old Coblby Earley from Homdale, he died from multiple blunt force injuries caused by the crash.
As KTVB previously reported, the Boise Police Department (BPD) stated Earley was driving fast travelling east on Lake Forest Drive, when the car went off the road in southeast Boise. Police said the vehicle likely went over a berm, hit a large tree and collided with a fence near South Impatiens Place.
Earley was pronounced dead at the scene after life-saving measures failed, according to police.
BPD responded to South Impatiens Place around 1:25 a.m. Friday. The Boise Fire Department also arrived at the scene with extrication equipment, along with Ada County Paramedics and the Boise Police Reconstruction Team.
Boise Police said he was the only person involved in the crash and the investigation is ongoing.
According to the coroner's office, they responded to the crash around 2 a.m.
