BOISE, Idaho — Jordan's Garden Center has partnered with St. Vincent de Paul of SW Idaho, Taphouse and Toku Saku Consulting to give 400 Christmas trees away for free to families in need. The event is today, Dec. 12 at Jordan's Garden Center located at 2591 South Cole Road.

The event will last until the trees run out. People can head down to the center and check the status of the trees availability on their Facebook page

The event organizers posted the following statement on social media:

Jordan's Garden Center is proud to partner with St. Vincent de Paul of SW Idaho, Taphouse and Toku Saku Consulting to provide free Christmas Trees to families in need. This program is designed to help those families who might not otherwise be able to purchase a real tree or just need a little help. PLEASE NOTE this is NOT the same event we did last year where all trees on our lot were free. Tree selections are limited to designated areas, sizes and varieties. We do have hundreds of trees available, so this event should last most of the day. We will update this post when the event has ended.

Limit 1 tree per family. We will provide fresh cuts on your trees as well as load and tie the tree to your car. No extra cost and No supplies needed. Tree stands NOT included
