Update: Man who died in crash near Rogerson identified

The man, from Castleford, Idaho, died at the scene and was identified as Casey Lynn Romens.

TWIN FALLS COUNTY, Idaho — The Twin Falls County Coroner's Office identified the man who died in a Twin Fall County crash on Wednesday as Casey Lynn Romens.

34-year-old Romens from Castleford, Idaho died after crashing his truck in Rogerson, Twin Falls County near the 1600 N and 2500 E intersection, Idaho State Police (ISP) stated.

The accident happened today around 11: a.m., the man was driving a 2002 International truck that was pulling a trailer when he drove off the left shoulder of the road, tried to overcorrect, rolled the vehicle and died from his injuries at the crash site. 

According to ISP, he was not wearing a seatbelt. the investigation is ongoing, and no more information is being released at this time.
