No injuries in Meridian house fire

The Meridian Fire Department said the house was under construction and unoccupied.

MERIDIAN, Idaho — According to the Meridian Fire Department (MFD), crews put out a fire in the crawlspace of an unoccupied house that was under construction on Friday, Jan. 19. around 8:30 a.m. The department stated the fire was in North Meridian at the 4000 block area of N Blissful Ave. No one was injured.

The MFD said when crews got to the house, they saw smoke coming out of the garage and found a fire in a crawlspace under the living room. Crews put the fire out and the department thanked the Ada County Paramedics, Meridian Police, Eagle Fire and Boise Fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
