BOISE, Idaho — If you like ice cream, now is your chance to try a new creation from some of the best chefs in the Boise area.
The Boise Ice Cream Festival is underway and goes until Saturday, June 15.
The festival features are variety of events around Boise that highlights locally made ice cream, delicious flavors, creative new flavors, restaurant collaborations and exclusive chef creations.
The festival culminates on June 15th at JUMP in downtown Boise with a big finale called The Grand Tasting featuring over 200 flavors of ice cream to sample.
Organizers say those who attend the Grand Tasting will be able to sample more flavors and combinations of ice cream than is available anywhere in the U.S.
Guests can purchase tickets to one of three 90-minute session. A dozen local and regional ice cream producers will be showcasing their products. There will be live entertainment and other activities.
