Man dies after crash in Fruitland

Police said the 53-year-old man died at the hospital from his injuries.

FRUITLAND, Idaho — One man is dead, and another is in the hospital after a crash on US-95 on Monday, May 20 around 10 a.m. at milepost 63 in Payette County.

According to the Idaho State Police, (ISP),  a 55-year-old man from Caldwell driving a 2006 Dodge Durango, was headed north when he drove left of center and hit a 53-year-old male driving a 2022 Ford Maverick going south.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital, the man driving the Ford later died from his injuries.

Traffic was blocked for about two hours, ISP is investigating the crash.
