BOISE, Idaho — A man has died after crashing his motorcycle into the side of a garbage truck in east Boise. According to the Boise police Department (BPD) the man was seriously hurt and died at the scene from his injuries.
Police said the crash happened at the intersection of E. Warm Springs Ave. and S. Millbrook Way on Monday, Sept. 9 around 12:30 p.m. So far, the investigation indicates the garbage truck was headed north on Millbrook and the rider was going west on Warm Springs when the motorcycle hit the side of the garbage truck.
The rider's identity will be released by the Ada County Coroner after notifying next of kin. BPD said an investigation is ongoing, but no citations or charges have been made at this time.
