BOISE, Idaho — A man has died after crashing his motorcycle into a vehicle in Boise. According to the Boise Police Department (BPD), the crash happened near W. Preece Dr. and N. Milwaukee St., on June 20 around 10:30 p.m.

On June 26, the Ada County Coroner's Office released the identity of the man who died. Charles Gentry, 21, died at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center after life saving measures were unsuccessful. He died from blunt force trauma to the head.

"Evidence indicates that as the driver of a vehicle was turning southbound onto Milwaukee from Preece, an adult male motorcyclist traveling northbound on Milwaukee crashed into the vehicle," a news release stated.

BPD said officers tried helping the man before the paramedics arrived, but he later died at the hospital from his injuries. The driver of the other car stayed at the scene and an investigation is ongoing. The investigation is being done by Boise Police Department.
