BOISE, Idaho — A teen is dead after a two-vehicle crash involving a concrete truck Wednesday morning on U.S. Highway 20 east of Caldwell.
Idaho State Police in a news release said the crash was at the intersection of the highway and Midland Boulevard at roughly 8:06 a.m. Wednesday, July 10. ISP said the crash happened after the teen driving a 2012 Subaru Tribeca failed to stop at a stop sign.
The Subaru was hit by a 2019 Oshkosh concrete truck, driven by a 59-year-old man from Caldwell.
Police said the teen died at the scene.
The concrete truck driver was taken to the hospital for minor injuries, ISP reported.
Idaho State Police said the Canyon County Coroner’s Office will identify the teen and their cause of death.
The crash, which blocked the roadway in both directors for two hours Wednesday, is still being investigated by police.
