BOISE, Idaho — The 65-year-old woman who was killed after a rollover crash on Tuesday, Dec. 26. in Ada County, was identified on Wednesday by the Ada County Coroner's Office.
Chari Garrett of Middleton died from multiple blunt-force injuries and was pronounced dead at the Saint Alphonsus Regional Center after lifesaving measures were unsuccessful, according to a news release from Ada County Coroner Richard D. Riffle.
Idaho State Police on Tuesday said the accident happened around 9 a.m. on Interstate 84 when Garrett was driving east in a 2004 Dodge Ram pickup. Police said she drove into the median, and the pickup flipped and stopped on its roof.
Garrett was wearing her seatbelt during the crash, and was the only person in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
