MERIDIAN -- A tank truck crash sent milk pouring out onto Interstate 84 in Meridian Tuesday morning.

According to Idaho State Police, the four-vehicle wreck happened at around 7:50 a.m. on eastbound I-84 at milepost 41, near Ten Mile Road.

ISP said Wayne Reece, 60, of Nampa was eastbound in a commercial vehicle pulling two tank trailers filled with milk. According to police, Reece didn't slow with traffic and crashed into another commercial vehicle driven by 55-year-old Rodney Day of Meridian that was pulling three trailers.

Day then ran into a 2003 Kia Sorrento driven by 49-year-old Jeffrey Kirkman of Nampa.

Milk from Reece's damaged trailer then spilled onto a 2013 Chevrolet pickup driven by Thomas Kirkland, 34, of Boise.

Dispatchers say no one was injured in the wreck, and police said all the drivers were wearing seat belts.

The right lane of I-84 was blocked for about five-and-a-half hours.

ISP is investigating the crash.
