RIGGINS, Idaho — Idaho State Police (ISP) is investigating a motorcycle crash on U.S. Highway 95.
On Sunday, Sept. 8, at roughly 1:30 p.m., ISP responded to a report of a single motorcycle crash near milepost 213. Two residents from White Bird, Idaho were riding northbound on the highway, when the motorcycle crossed the center line to the left, and traveled off the road before crashing into a hillside, ISP said.
The 52-year-old male rider, and his 51-year-old female passenger, both died at the scene from their injuries. Neither of them were wearing helmets. Their families have been notified, ISP said.
Idaho County Sheriff's Office helped ISP with the incident.
It is still under investigation by ISP.
