BOISE - Boise police are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Apple Street and Federal Way.
Officers say a semi-truck and a motorcycle collided about 3:55 p.m. Police found the motorcyclist dead on the scene when they arrived.
The Ada County Coroner's Office has identified the crash victim as 49-year-old Robin Winter of Boise. The cause of death is listed as blunt force trauma due to a motorcycle accident.
Police said Winter was wearing a helmet.
