BOISE, Idaho — Meridian Police and other agencies are responding to a traffic incident off of East Amity Road in Meridian, near Albertsons.
Meridian Police, Meridian Fire, Ada County Paramedics and Idaho Power have all responded to the scene.
Some roads had to be closed, so crews can work the area. Westbound traffic on Amity is closed around Eagle Road, and eastbound traffic at Montague are closed, said the City of Meridian said. These roads will be closed for several hours while Idaho Power repairs a power pole that was struck down.
As of 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Meridian Police and Idaho Power remain on the scene of the incident.
The City of Meridian advises drivers to avoid the area as best as possible, seeking alternative routes. Meridian will provide updates when the roads will reopen. This article will be updated with up-to-date information as it becomes available.
