Nampa man indicted for rape, authorities believe there are more victims

42-year-old Kenneth Ray Dial Jr. was arrested in early August on charges of rape and sexual abuse of a minor. Nampa police believe there may be more victims.

BOISE, Idaho — A Nampa man was indicted on multiple sex charges, including rape and sexual abuse of a minor in Canyon and Ada County.

On Wednesday, the Nampa Police Department (NPD) said a grand jury indicted 42-year-old Kenneth Ray Dial Jr. on his charges after he allegedly provided alcohol and drugs to two underage girls and "propositioned them for sexual acts."

NPD said detectives believe there are more victims.

While Dial was being investigated, NPD said the Kuna Police Department (KPD) received a report that he was sexually abusing other children in 2014.

Authorities said, NPD, KPD and the Ada County Sheriff's Office began a joint investigation into Dial, and he was arrested on Aug. 2, 2024. He was indicted, given a $1 million bond, and remains in custody.

If you or your child have been in contact with Dial, call Nampa Police Detective  Maddox at (208) 468-5509. If you were not a victim but have information about Mr. Dial and his relationship with underage females, you can remain anonymous and contact Crime Stoppers at 208-343-COPS.
