Nampa police seek help identifying 'traveling crime ring' suspects

Police are seeking the public's help in identifying three women and one man suspected of the crimes.

NAMPA, Idaho — Nampa Police Department (NPD) said in a social media post Wednesday that area retail and grocery store employees need the community's help in identifying four people suspected of participating in a traveling crime ring.

NPD said three women and one man have been stealing items from stores around the Treasure Valley. In the statement, police said they are seeking the public's help and want to alert local businesses to be on the lookout for the suspects.

During the alleged criminal acts, one woman takes the items and hides them under her skirt or in a pocket, while the other two women appear to be participating as "lookouts."

In the photos provided by NPD, police said the man could be seen entering the store after the three women. However, all four suspects were seen together in a silver Hyundai sedan.

Police ask that if you are an employee at a targeted store around the Treasure Valley and see them, call local law enforcement or Nampa Police Department's 24/7 non-emergency line at 208-465-2257, choose option 1.

If you know them or have information about the crimes, call Crime Stoppers at 208-343-COPS or leave a tip at www.343cops.com. Police said the case reference number is N24-33313.
