Nampa teen dies in crash

Police said the 17-year-old boy rolled his car near Ustick.

NAMPA, Idaho — A 17-year-old boy from Nampa has died in a rollover car crash. According to the Nampa Police Department (NPD), the crash happened by the intersection of Ustick Road and N. Treeline Ave., on June 23 around 3 p.m.

NPD said the car hit a power pole, brought the power lines down and a small brush fire started. The Nampa Fire Department responded first and found the teen dead in the car. The fire was quickly extinguished.

The police department said the investigation is ongoing.
