BOISE - The Boise City Hall now has a new look!
Today was the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly renovated Boise City Hall plaza.
The new public space features tall, metal art structures designed to cast shadows on the ground that look like leaves.
Also on the space -- tables, a Boise GreenBike station, and electric car charging station.
Mayor Dave Bieter says the new addition is a valuable one.
"We've set out to be the most livable city in the country and we want our city hall and our plaza space especially to reflect that,” said Bieter. “It’s a great addition to a great downtown."
The new plaza replaces the one that featured all the state flags from across the country.
