BOISE, Idaho — A house fire in Boise damaged the chimney and fireplace but there were no injuries. According to Boise Fire Department (BFD) the fire happened on Nov. 17 around 7:00 p.m. at the 3200 block of W Edson St.
"Upon arrival, fire crews found a residential structure with flames and smoke coming from the back of the house. Firefighters quickly coordinated an offensive fire attack, extinguishing the fire. Fire damage was contained to the chimney and fireplace area, and did not extend into the rest of the home," BFD stated.
BFD said there were no injuries to civilians or firefighters and the fire started in the chimney.
