MERIDIAN, Idaho — Idaho is getting its second Nordstrom Rack location. Set to be established within The Village at Meridian, the store is estimated to open in Fall 2025.
"We look forward to being a part of the Meridian community and serving our customers with an amazing offering of great brands at great prices," said Gemma Lionello, President of Nordstrom Rack. "We're excited to grow our footprint in the Boise market and introduce new customers to the Nordstrom experience."
The store is expected to be roughly 25,000 square feet.
The Village at Meridian, owned by CenterCal Properties, is eager to have the retailer join the shopping options.
"We're thrilled to welcome Nordstrom Rack to The Village at Meridian. This new addition is sure to become a favorite destination for both locals and visitors, solidifying The Village at Meridian as Idaho's premier shopping and lifestyle hub," said Jean Paul Wardy, CEO and Co-Founder of CenterCal Properties.
Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail off-shoot of Nordstrom. Nordstrom Rack offers customers up to 70% off apparel, accessories and more, all from the top brands that Nordstrom is known for, said a news release.
The development of the new location expands the company's footprint and economic impact in Idaho, the news release continued.
Lionello added, "Customers will be able to take advantage of our convenient services such as online order pick up from both Nordstrom.com and NordstromRack.com, and they can make returns easily."
Nordstrom is committed to investing in the communities they live in, the news release said. With the help of their customers, Nordstrom has donated more than $2 million to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the United States, which is a long-term partner of the clothing retailer.
