BOISE, Idaho — World Crocodile Day comes but once a year. This year Zoo Boise is highlighting Pandora the Nile crocodile.
According to the zoo, Pandora was rescued after hurricane Katrina in 2005.
"It's likely she was part of an illegal pet trade. She's in a much better home now, and every time you visit Pandora, you're helping species like hers," stated a social media post.
Although today is the day to recognize the crocodile, people can visit Pandora anytime during normal zoo hours, so, there's no need to say "after a while crocodile."
