Police find missing Nampa man safe

NAMPA, Idaho — Update: Nampa Police tweeted out at about 10:30 a.m that they have found Patrick McCarthy.

The original story follows:

Nampa Police are asking for the public's help finding a man who went missing last week. 

Patrick McCarthy, 68, was last seen in Nampa Wednesday, May 8. He has not been in contact with his family since, which police say is unusual for him. 

McCarthy takes medication for a serious health condition, and did not take it with him, according to Nampa Police,

He is described as 5'10" and 220 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. McCarthy may be driving a beige 2007 Kia Rondo van with license plate 2C PP204.

Anyone who sees him is asked to call police immediately.
